Hands down the best Melting Pot I've ever been to. There's a reason this location has survived so many years in a strip mall in a quiet family friendly town. Server was attentive and helped speed our meal along since daddy wanted an entree and the little one and I only wanted cheese and dessert. The Wednesday night magician was great... Stayed late to make sure he got to perform for all the kids. Manager very attentive as well. Great specialty cocktails! Will definitely be back for both date night and girls night out!!

I was surprised that I actually liked the food from here. It was a perfect ending for the night. We were seated immediately and our server attended us as soon as we sat down. The server we had was so personable and attentive. She explained how the restaurant worked and gave us a couple of recommendations. The only down side is the strong odor that lingered in the restaurant. The place was also extremely cold but luckily once I got my drink I was able to somewhat heat up. I would definitely give this place another try though!

Melting Pot is one of my favorites! The wait staff is very attentive and willing to refill your drinks, sauces and veggies as often as you wish. The food is very yummy. I especially enjoy the cheese fondue. The manager, Baris, is a very nice guy and his staff love him. That is why they always do their best!

This is my favorite restaurant! The service is always top-notch, and the food is so yummy. It's a great place to go for a first date or to talk with a friend. There is a coupon in the enjoy the city coupon book.

Service was great but food was so plain for the price. Everything was an "extra" and we were told we had to cook our own food. Not really worth it in my opinion.

Okay this meal lasted over 3 hours! The entire time we enjoyed calm, soothing music and each other. Our server was Scott and he was Amazing! This week this restaurant has an unlimited entree meal for $39.99 each through Friday night! Make your reservation. They have curtained off booths and it's just so nice! The food! We opted for the Wisconsin 3 cheese blend and since its full of Vegies, fruit we skipped the salad and said bring on those pots! Lol bread pieces are also given for the cheese. You will be full! We had the oil sauce to cook the meats and veggies like potatoes, sweet potato, broccoli , carrots, and mushrooms. 2 dipping sauces to coat our food; tempura and a sesame seed based coating. Meat- this was unlimited! Fresh shrimp, chicken breast, Angus Sirloin, Teriyaki marinated sirloin and Filet Mignon. We did it Justice!! There are several dipping sauces but I really only liked the scallion like one, well and Gorgonzola one lol! A lot. Scott was so good about checking our pots because we had cheese on 1 side and oil in other pan, this was Perfect! 2 cookers!! I chowed on shrimp and mushrooms. Hubby just really enjoyed the other meats. Tender and juicy! I'm so good right now, it's like after Thanksgivings Dinner and its relaxation time. BUT! Chocolate Time! Oh yay!! Fresh bananas, strawberries, rice Krispy treats, various brownies, pound cake, chocolate dusted coconut marshmallows and plain coconut marshmallow. Scott laughed and could see I was happy. I did ask the Manager if they knew the cacao amount and they didn't, but informed us they had just met with a great chocolatier and looking to bring in better choc. Quite content I am posting a copy of the bill it's a nice treat, but there are less priced entrees. Everyone will find something. We did give Scott more tip because he was great! Thank you for a nice evening!

I really wish I could give this review 5 stars for service and experience. Our waiter Justin was the bomb he made us feel at home for our first time ever. He had great recommendations and super enthusiastic and always checking up on us without even having to look for him. The manager also made sure to go around and check up to make sure everything was ok which it really was!!!!! I just wish the food was a little more tasty and filling. I didn't know you had to cook your own food, it wasn't that bad. At least you get to take it slow and it's all for the experience. Portions are small and you have to warm them up in a boiling broth. For the experience it's lots of fun. If you're a starving monster, make sure you don't come on a fully empty stomach. I really have no complaints it's all about your personal taste. I would really unfortunately never come back, perhaps only for appetizer or dessert. Overall it was a nice experience.

I find this particular restaurant extremely average and very overpriced. However my wife and two daughters absolutely love eating here. So I am often forced to attend. Perhaps this is a restaurant brand built to be more in tune with women than it is with men. As I often find large groups of women having a fabulous time there. But for me if I'm going to spend this amount of money there are many other places I would prefer to go to. I will say our service has always been fabulous. Restaurant is very clean. And we have never had a problem with the food. I just don't find it particularly very good. I find the portions too small for a large eater like me. But again it is very popular on special occasions so give it a try.

yum, yum, yum in my tum tum tum....so good, this place makes me happy. I used to remember The Melting Pot being so expensive, but now it's downright affordable. I typically start with a salad ($4.95), pick a cheese with bread and veggies ($8.95/person), and then share a dessert ($8.95). This time was no different. I ordered my favorite walnut salad, we split the beer cheddar cheese, and shared the cookies and creme for dessert. (see pix) Our waiter, Jesse, was great too! There were a lot of kids this time when we went and they seemed to all love the concept of making their own food. The only thing we did not like was the music, it was bizarre. I felt like we were in the twilight zone, it just kept getting weirder and weirder and felt like we were in a Horror movie.

7/31/15 - First and last time I will be coming to this location. I came here because it was close to the Casino which I happened to be going to that night. First area we were seated in was very small and dark so we asked to move. The waiter moved us to a more lighted area near the entrance. After ordering and receiving the cheese fondue, I found a hair in the apple slices. When I notified the waiter he said that he will let the kitchen know and kind of blew it off. We asked if the curtain could be closed at our table to which the waiter responded "there is a charge for that." Charge for closing the curtain? Okay. Boca location didn't charge last time. Once we got the food everything was going smooth until we tried to locate the waiter who could not be found. Literally had to hunt down the waiter for everything including a drink refill and the check. Not a good experience...

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! The restaurant, first of all, is impressive to look at. NIce, dark, romantic...just great! Our waiter last time i went was a young guy but was cool and knew how to take care of us. When i went a got a COMPLETE meal. salad, cheese fondue, main course, and chocolate fondue for dessert. The salad was a classic caesar, i believe. Very tasty. Shortly after came the cheese fondue which was a bit spicy but very flavorful. They give you ALOT of things to dip in the cheese such as different kinds of bread, apples, and chips. It's very satisfying and leaves me begging for more. For the main course they put a pot of seasoned water in front of you with a plate of raw meat and fish. Now i can understand how cooking your own food at a restaurant seems kind of silly but its very entertaining. The food plate can contain anything from shrimp to steak and everything takes about 4-5 minutes to cook except the shrimp, which took less time. You're also given an assortment of sauces to dip your meats in, so by the end you have tons of great flavors to pick from. Last but not least is the dessert. I would come to this restaurant for the cheese and dessert alone. We ordered to have milk chocolate on one side of the pot, and dark chocolate on the other. After melting the chocolate, they lay out a plate filled with things to dip. The plate contained cheesecake, brownies, rice krispy treats, bananas, strawberries, marshmallows, and probably more! Of course with all of this you can imagine that the place would be a little pricey. I totally thinks it worth it though. I would recommend this place for pretty much everyone. It has excellent...EVERYTHING!

Went just for coffee with my love and had horrible service. The coffee took over 15 minutes to arrive and the staff was seemingly annoyed that we weren't odering food (upping the tip amount). I think we are done with a romantic little cup of coffee there. LOTS of screaming kids too.

I usually write a Yelp review when I am disappointed in a restaurant. But in this case I have to say the Cooper City Melting Pot is just terrific . The food , the service, the ambiance all perfection .. Their manager BASAR is terrific and visits every table. want extra mushrooms ? or extra veggies to dip ? no problem . The servers are so polite and well trained its always a pleasure . We love it Bart Peluso

I love this place. Staff goes out of there way for you. Fondue is not might favorite meal option, but my family will visit this location a few times a year. Budget at least 90 minutes to enjoy your meal. Save room for dessert. Meal starts with cheese fondue with breads, carrots and celery. Next a great salad. Then, our main course. Filet Minot, teriyaki, and spicy chicken we cook in tradition oil. I don't eat seafood and swap out shrimp for more filet at no extra cost. My wife enjoyed making her own stuffed mushrooms. Dessert is a selection of chocolates with fruits, brownie, and cheese cake. Love this place. Go hungry. Ask for extra curry and teriyaki sauce they are great!

I went here back on Valentine's Day for their deal, and it was a great experience. We had privacy with the curtains, an attentive waitress, delicious food and a romantic ambience. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time there and will continue to come back especially upon finding out this location is owned by the same man, who ran the north miami beach location.

Fun place for date night it with two couples. I wouldn't recommend for a larger crowd as the intimacy is part of the fun. You cook your own food at the table. We prefer the oil cooking pot over the seasoned water which makes the meat taste boiled. The wine selection is good but don't expect to find any deals. For regulars it's worth getting in their email list because they frequently have specials. For a romantic evening in cooper city it's hard to beat.

Came here for a GNO and a special birthday occasion. We tried to have a bigger party there but they don't make reservations for parties larger than 10. I had never been to a melting pot, so maybe this is my review for a fondue experience in general. Everything was delicious. I loved that they had a full gluten free menu and provided me with gluten free bread, brownies and pound cake for my sides. The pound cake was a little hard but I was so happy to eat pound cake it didn't matter to me. We decided to split two of the two person specials they had between 5 people. That helped with the costs a little but we knew ahead if time this place was an expensive treat. We got the cheddar and Spinach and artichoke, then the dinner with lobster and a mix of proteins and the ying yang and peanut butter for dessert. I couldn't taste the difference between the two dinner broths we got, but they were both yummy. I wish they provided the table with timers so that you could time your food cooking. The service was great and very attentive. The ambience is very dark and romantic. I overall had a great experience and left stuffed.

UPDATE TO MY UPDATE: my fiance and I went tonight to have a few drinks, cheese, and chocolate. Our waiter Jesse was perfect, very friendly and attentive. The manager came by and asked how everything was. I had the jackberry smash, one of their specialty cocktails, I definitely recommend it, it was delicious. Also tried the bourbon bacon cheese for the first time, that will probably be my go to from now on lol. UPDATE: I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. The manager Baris has reached out to me and apologized. That shows the Melting Pot does care and values their customers, something I really respect. I know my dining experience may not have been the best that time, but nobody is perfect, and I have had great times here before. I look forward to future dining here and giving them another shot. My fiance and I went here tonight for the melting pot four course meal. Overall it was okay. Our server Melissa (i think that was her name. blonde girl) was nice but a little slow and forgetful. I asked for a side of teriyaki sauce, she was very willing to get me some but never came back with it and must have completely forgotten. During our chocolate fondue dessert we ran out of the goodies to dip in the chocolate so I nicely asked Melissa for more rice krispy treats and strawberries, she LITERALLY brought me two half strawberries and 2 small rice krispy treats and said "that should be enough"....really?!.....and I mean we had a good amount of chocolate left in our pot. For the price we are paying I really think we should have been brought more dippers. I've been to the melting pot before and I have never had this problem, so I was extremely disappointed considering this is my favorite part of the melting pot experience. So not wanting to waste our chocolate we just ate 4 spoonfuls of chocolate out of the pot. I probably wont be coming back to this melting pot ever again.

Who doesn't love the melting pot!? My favorite fondue is their ying yang dessert and I usually only order their strawberries and cheesecake to dip. This location is good I just wish they were opened later. Also wasn't as clean as other melting pot locations.

Not much to shout about. The place smells! (But it is obvious because of the amount of cheese that is cooked in there). The food is nothing to shout about and for the money they charge for me is a most certainly NO WAY! I guess people go there for the experience, and if one has never tried fondue before, then it is worth the experience. HOWEVER I much rather take my money to a place where there is really good food.

I LOVE The Melting Pot. Have been to more than one location. Yes, it's more expensive than the average restaurant but the food (especially the dessert!) is SO yummy. We went to this location (first time) for Valentine's Day. We got the Valentine's Day package which included roses, candles, "private booth", candles, champagne toast, etc. And although the food was YUMMY like always, the roses were definitely not professionally made. The rose stems were so small and they were in a vase way too tall so the roses barely poked at the top of the vase, and all the greens were in the water. NOT Good! The candles were never lit. Waiter was nice and attentive. For $350 bucks though for two people I wouldn't go again for Valentine's Day.

I LOVE the Melting Pot especially this location. I've also been to the one in N. Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca and Coral Springs. One of the main reasons this one is a fave is that for some reason it's usually not that busy (for a weekend night). It's one of my fave places to go to for a special occasion, Anniversary, Birthday, etc. It's a different experience for someone who wants just that "a dining experience". Mind you, it's not my everyday restaurant but it's a nice treat for a couple times a year. The service is always awesome, attentive, friendly. I'd suggest it for couples, but have also seen many families with kids (at least 5yrs old+) or friends celebrating a special occasion. It's also known to be frequented by those who just want to have a couple drinks and dessert. My favorite dishes? Well, pretty much everything. I've tasted all the cheese fondue and found them all to be great but didn't care too much for the spinach/artichoke dip. Not that there was anything wrong with it, just personal preference. The salads are awesome especially their spinach/mushroom salad. And dessert, well of course that's my favorite. I have yet to try all the chocolate combinations but I'm working on it. Keep up the great work Melting Pot! P.S I'm not sure why it says this restaurant is in Ft. Laud but it's not, it's in Copper City.

I always like going to the Melting Pot for a relaxing dinner or lunch. Cooking the food yourself is always fun and it's a nice change of pace. I love the fact they don't rush you, too. You can order all the courses or just cheese and dessert. Everything I've elver had here has been delicious. The service here was great and the servers were really friendly.

This is a Melting Pot location I will never visit again. I have been here several times to celebrate birthdays in our group of friends. However, don't even think about showing up without a reservation, even as a single diner, because they won't seat you. So many tables open and these people are losing money by turning walk-ins away. They have the policy to staff based on their reservations, and said I would have to wait at the very least one hour to be seated. I asked if this was new, since I've visited pretty much every location in South Florida without encountering this ridiculous situation, and was told that they're very sorry that "I don't agree with their staffing practices but that's how they operate." Fantastic policy and even better customer service.

If I could give this place a 10-star, I would! Three of us girls went to The Melting Pot tonight to celebrate a birthday. We had such a great evening and the experience went beyond the greatness of the food! We had reservations, even though we found out that this particular Melting Pot is not really in a hot location (compared to the one in Fort Lauderdale on Federal Highway), so no need for reservations, even on a Saturday night. Our waiter was Jerry, and he was SUPER! Amazing waiter, he knows his stuff and was very attentive. I ordered a cosmo, my friend had a mojito, and my other friend, the birthday girl, had white wine. Our waiter was prompt with the drinks. We ordered the four-course meal. Cheese Fondue: We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Cheese Fondue. For the ones who are wondering... it does not taste like Spinach and Artichokes. The pieces are extremely small... and all you can taste is the yummy Fontina and Butterkase cheeses with lots of garlic! It comes with carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, pieces of bread, and green apples to dip in the cheese. Absolutely divine and my favorite part of the meal (yes, above the chocolate!) Salads: My two friends had the house salads, but I had the california salad. My salad was really amazing. Strawberry vinaigrette, green mix, pecans, and blue cheese. The waiter brought us a wine and garlic "salt" to sprinkle over our salads, and it made the taste even better! Main course (the bouillon): We had the coq au vin base and ordered the shrimp, chicken, fillet mignon, angus beef, lobster tail (1.5 lobster tail), the mushroom pasta-like goodies, and veggies (potatoes, broccoli, and mushrooms). It was succulent! The fillet mignon melts in your mouth, and the lobster was absolutely delicious. Everything was delicious, really. The cool thing about the entrée is that it comes with sauces to dip the meat. All in all about 6 dips (green goddess was the best with cream cheese, chives, sour cream, green onions, etc.) and some sweet and sour sauces and even curry sauces. The waiter was so awesome that he separated our meal into two plates (one for the person at one side of the booth and a bigger plate for the two of us on the other side of the booth) so that we wouldn't have to pass the plate back and forth. He even gave us two sets of sauces. Oh, and there was some garlic butter with lemon for the lobster. Dessert: - We had the turtle flambéed pecan with dark chocolate fondue (forgot the name). I enjoyed it a lot, even though I don't really have a sweet tooth. It comes with cheese cake to dip in the chocolate, marshmallows, fruits, and pieces of brownies. During the dessert, we got moscato ON THE HOUSE (a sweet dessert wine) since it was my friend's birthday. We really appreciated the gesture from our waiter and loved that the manager came to our table. He was so nice and funny, we enjoyed a little conversation with him. Total bill: $200 (four glasses of wine, one mojito, one cosmo, one soda, the four-course meal + half a plate of the lobster ($44 just for that plate) and free moscato! Great, great evening! I will make sure to go to New Jersey to The Melting Pot there when I get back home to NYC!

i had been wanting to try the melting pot out for awhile until my boyfriend took me there for our two year anniversary back in april. it was everything i hoped it was & more. at first i was a bit skeptical about the whole idea of cooking our own food but it's really not that bad. the have such a wide variety of fondue & food to pick from. the dessert fondue was, of course, my favorite. absolute decadence & indulgence. the atmosphere was perfect for our romantic evening & the waitress was just the best. your tab may run a bit high but it is totally worth it. i can't wait to go again :D

The BEST Deal for Melting pot... is for the Ladies' Night Wednesdays. It's usually the 1st and 3rd wednesday of the month, and it seems that All locations participate in this... With the Reservation, it's ~30 a person for Cheese, Entree, and dessert. They can do different meats if you don't eat red meat. Reservations are taken (up to a month in advance...) and if you cancel before monday of the reservation, you are ok. but if not, they were charge your credit card $30 for not showing up. (possibly more, but Idk for sure) Parking is limited! so carpool if you can, or show up well in advance so you can find a spot Drink specials are $5 for a martini. With the 30 dollars, you get a little goodie bag when you arrive at the table. Dillard's does a nice little fashion show with the recent lines out, and perfumes. and there are often drawings for nearby salons, or for dinners, amongst other swag paraphernalia.... worth going to... And who doesn't want a night out with the girlfriends? :)

Wow, I have not been at The Melting Pot in years. Let me tell you, their service is outstanding. As far as other reviews; if you come to this restaurant expecting for somebody to cook for you, well, you have no clue and you are definitely in the wrong place.... I came here with my wife to celebrate our 12th anniversary and we had the full 4 course experience with amazing service and excellent food. I recommend the California salad, the duo lobster tail and the cookies and cream dessert... Thanks David for making it a great experience. We will definitely come back for more!

The melting pot, interesting concept. Interesting concepts come with a large price tag sometimes. The setting here is very romantic. Dark lighting, slow dinner, the 9 yards. The fun part about the melting pot is you get to play with your food. I do feel this place is a bit pricey for you having to cook your own food :P. It's worth trying it for the experience, I probably wouldn't come here on a regular basis due to the price and my laziness. The times I've come here I have gotten the 3 course meal, it was very quality and good. I especially like the cheese fondue and the chocolate. I almost burned my lip of by accident cooking my chicken. ( dot try and use the fondue fork as a regular fork). If anything you should make reservations for just cheese or just dessert. You get the same experience without all the money and food.

You're paying for the experience. The cheese was okay. I'm not fond of any beer based food, so it wasn't my cup of tea. As far as the main course- As a vegetarian, it wasnt anything great. Along with a lot of vegetables and some pasta they included seasoned tofu. I didn't really like the flavor of the tofu and felt like the assortment wasn't worth 16 dollars a person. Cooking our own food was kind of annoying to be honest. My boyfriend was disappointed with the sauces because the food is so plain, if the sauces aren't good- its just boiled veggies. It felt like something you would make when you're running low on groceries. The chocolate was of course amazing, and salads were okay. My raspberry vinigerrette was more oil than anything else. We each had two drinks and they were really strong surprisingly. The waitress was also really nice and awkward.

I would like to say that I go to the Melting Pot pretty often. I love the cheese and chocolate. It's a great place to just have a quick bite with friends. The hostesses have been super accommodating. Especially, when we had a group of 10 teens. I always make a reservation so I have no experience with the wait time without one. I've introduced a lot of my friends to this place and everyone always ends up loving it.

I went with my 4 year old daughter. We had no wait on a Saturday night. We ordered the cheese course and the chocolate course and the add on items for each to make sure we had enough food. The portion (with the add on) was great for us to share. We had a wonderful time.

We came here for our anniversary. Everything was fine at first, they gave us a complimentary box of chocolate-covered strawberries which were very tasty. However, about 15 minutes after we sat down they went ahead and seated a 12-year-old's birthday party right next to us...in an otherwise empty restaurant. It only got worse after that, as group after group got seated at booths right next to us instead of, well, anywhere else in the fairly large restaurant. Pretty soon it was incredibly noisy and our server kept getting distracted by other parties, leaving us feeling rather neglected. It's unfortunate that the sub-par service put such a damper on our anniversary dinner, which was tasty as usual for the Melting Pot.

I love love love the cheddar fondue. I could eat it for all 3 courses. I got the four course dinner and it was good. The house salad is amazing also. Try cooking the mushrooms and then putting green goddess in the middle, it's delicious. The only complaint I had was that our table was so dark we had to use our phone's light to see the menu. It is pricey so I'd only go for special occasions but it's one of my favorite places to eat. You get to really enjoy the company of your guest.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful. Whether you are having a nice romantic dinner or ladies night out, you will love everything about this place. The service is incredible, food is great, fun way to cook your food. Its a different and unique way to dine. The manager Baris is awesome. He makes you feel welcome and is absolutely hysterical! He should be in comedy. The owner Dave is also great. He truly loves people and cares about his customers and staff. If you have never fondue'd then this place is a must try! Ladies night is the last Thursday of each month and is an incredible deal and a super fun night. Check out their website for deals and information. Located in a perfect location in Cooper City, FL which has everything you need from Publix to a Hallmark store to a department store. (Steinmart) From Orange Theory Fitness to a Dry cleaner, from a UPS store to a cute wonderful boutique (Lisa's Closet) to an amazing beach-themed salon located a few stores away, where I finally found the best stylist and someone who does amazing pedicures!

My boyfriend and I went on a date to The Melting Pot. We purchased the Romance package which helped to narrow our options while keeping them open to just enough to choose from. They have a Huge variety of appetizers and entrees with different cooking methods. We tried the Swiss cheese fondue appetizer, it came with different breads, broccoli, and apples, it was delicious! We had Caesar salads which were very good as well. For the entree we chose the mojo cooking method. They brought pieces of chicken breast, shrimp, Cajun steak, and filet mignon. Everything was great. The portions are small but since you have to many you do get full. The dessert was to die for! The variety is huge! We had the s'mores fondue. They brought out pound cake, brownies, blondies, marshmallows, strawberries, and pineapple pieces. Definitely worth breaking a diet for. The customer service was great! We had a reservation and were sat immediately. The server took his time to explain to us how everything worked and checked on us regularly but enough to not disturb. He kept reminding us not to forget the chocolate dipped strawberries that were included in our package which was pretty cool. We had the red rose wine which is now our favorite. Great experience. Very private for couples to chat. We loved it and we will definitely go back.

Love going to the melting pot. You don't have to wait long to eat, make the proper selections and you will have an amazing experience once you get over the fact that you have to cook your own food. The children love it too!! Wednesday is magic day and kids eat free.. totally reccomend it.
